The next in this regular series of ‘Science on the Broome Coast’ talks will be held from 6-7pm at the Broome Public Library on 30 April.
Dr Kim Friedman, Marine Science Program Leader at the Department of Parks and Wildlife will talk about ‘How science is assisting marine park conservation on the Kimberley coast’.
He will cover topics including:
- Where are the new Marine Parks on the Kimberley coast?
- what science is being done to support the establishment and management of Kimberley Marine Parks; and
- Who are the scientists and join managers involved?
- How can the general public keep up to date and play a part?
