Dear valued colleagues,
As an organisation with employees and stakeholders around WA, Rangelands NRM has been closely monitoring the developments concerning the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have implemented our own policies on managing COVID_19, including a Continuance Plan in line with guidance from the Australian Government, and are reviewing our response on a daily basis so that we can ensure that our staff are kept safe and available to provide you with the quality of service and information you expect from us.
At all times we will strive to respond appropriately, adhering to the expert advice from relevant local and global health authorities – while continuing to operate effectively and provide services within this ever-changing environment.
First and foremost, the health and well-being of our employees, stakeholders, and partners is our highest priority.
We already use videoconferencing for our internal communication and will extend the use of this with our clients and stakeholders so that we can minimise physical interactions. Social distancing has been introduced, along with robust hygiene protocols and our teams will restrict travel, and work remotely when required.
We are regularly sharing updates and guidance with all employees, informed by expert advice.
Looking ahead, we will continue to focus on three priorities: the well-being of our employees and their families; continuing to support our stakeholders; and managing any new challenges with resilience, trust, innovation and teamwork.
Rather than feel restricted in the way that we conduct our business, we see this as an opportunity to enhance the service we provide our stakeholders by introducing new ways of communication and interaction with our clients, meanwhile continuing the service that you have come to expect.
I urge every one of you to take care of yourselves and families, your colleagues and neighbours. It’s at times like these that our rangelands community comes together with compassion and caring.
If you have questions or if there is anything we can assist with, please do reach out.
