The NRM Regional Groups have appointed a new Executive Manager who will start on 1 July 2014.
Kathleen Broderick has previously worked with the Tasmanian NRM regions and as a CEO of a NRM region. Kathleen has held policy roles with the Minister for the Environment in WA, worked with the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park authority and worked in various roles with agencies to build their community engagement and collaboration. Kathleen is a very experienced facilitator and educator and will be a key resource for NRM in WA.
The Regional Groups work collaboratively across the State to provide a voice and collaborative hub for NRM. They have been represented for the last two years by Sue Middleton, WA Grassroots Development, who is leaving to take on a role as Chair of the WA Regional Development Trust. The NRM groups wish Sue well in her new role.
