The Pilbara Corridors Project recently exhibited at the first inaugural Karratha Business Expo, showcasing its project work, partnerships and highlight threatened species in the Fortescue Catchment.
The two-day expo, held at Karratha’s new Leisureplex from the 3-4 October 2013, was an initiative of the Karratha and District’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KDCCI).

“Pilbara Corridors was given the opportunity to showcase its project work and partnerships as well as highlight significant threatened and priority species found within the Fortescue Catchment to members of the general public, teachers and delegates attending the Pilbara Pulse Economic Summit next door,” Ms Clunies-Ross said.
The event featured local businesses including the Pilbara Corridors project team of Greening Australia and Rangelands NRM and other natural resource management companies such as the Water Corporation and Astron Soil & Water/WISE.
The expo featured over 60 exhibitors from Western Australia with approximately 950-1000 people visiting this event over the two day period.
