The next talk in the series ‘Science on the Broome Coast’ will take place on Wednesday 18 June at the Broome Public Library from 6-7pm.
Dr Vic Semeniuk, mangrove ecologist and stratigrapher will speak about the amazing ecosystem with a 7,000 year history and take the audience on a journey to discover the internationally significant ecological, cultural and scientific features of Roebuck Bay and Roebuck Plains.
Learn how the movement of water on and under Roebuck Plains contributes to wetland information and explore the transformations which occure on Roebuck Plains in the wet.
