We have defined nine areas that we focus our work on at Rangelands NRM.
Ultimately, we are committed to managing and maintaining the biodiversity of the Western Australian rangelands by working in collaboration with others.
Some threats to the rangelands need to be managed such as fire, weeds and ferals.
Changes in land management relating to landuse and grazing or rehydration and water and best practice are encouraged.
Indigenous communities are supported to develop their skills in land management through ranger programs.
New opportunities in the climate change and carbon sector are also emerging.
